摘　　要：在简·奥斯汀和弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫的作品中,宴会颇受青睐,且功能各异,对她们小说艺术创新实践的成功起到至关重要的作用。结合她们的文学创作思想,对《傲慢与偏见》和《达罗卫夫人》进行详尽解读,以更好地梳理在此期间宴会功能的嬗变。In the works of J·Austin and Virginia Woolf,party was endowed with different functions which played a key role in the success of their innovative efforts to reform the form of novel. Based on their literary ideas,a close study is conducted on Pride and Prejudice and Mrs. Dalloway to expose the variation of party's function from the 19th century to the 20th century.
