摘　　要：本文从历史回顾及新的进展二个大的方面,比较全面地总结了风沙地貌所取得的成绩以庆贺黄秉维教授80华诞。Professor Huang Bingwei is one of the scientists who opened up the studies about the sandy deserts in China. Sy reviewing the history and the new progresses of the research,the author of this paper described the distribution and causes of the sandy deserts in China, and discussed the achievements in the recent 30 )ears in the studies about Quaternary geology and geomorphology in sandy deserts, theories and experiments for the engineering projects in sandy deserts, Iandforms caused by winds in the coastal areas and deposits caused by winds. The author of this paper hopes that the Chinese scientists specialized in researches related to landforms in sandy deseserts will make more contributions and will continue the research works which were initiated by Professor Huang Bingwei and other older generation scientists.
