摘 要:本文就当代隐喻理论研究中六个方面的话题进行了一些探讨:(1)新造隐喻和使用隐喻的区分以及亚里斯多德对隐喻无处不在的看法;(2)“强硬”认知观点和“温和”认知观点;(3)隐喻性处理——有意选择的认知策略;(4)语料库资料检索及隐喻性与非隐喻性语言意义所占比例;(5)隐喻过程和隐喻产物;(6)强调上位层次映射时应注意防止贬低天才作家创造新隐喻的能力和产生“混杂隐喻”的倾向。This paper probes into six aspects concerning the study of contemporary theory of metaphor; (1)) the distinction between the coinage of a metaphor and the usage of metaphor, and Aristotle's position on the ubiquity of metaphor; (2) the 'strong' and a weaker cognitive views; (3) metaphoric process-an intentionally selected strategy of reading; (4) corpus data and the proportion of metaphorical and non-metaphorical senses; (5) the processes and the products of metaphor; (6) guarding against downplaying the aspects of creativity involved in the coinage of new metaphors by talented writers, and against producing mixed metaphor while emphasizing 'mappings are at the superordinate level .
