摘　　要：UML(标准建模语言)是面向对象技术的一个重要应用,也是软件工程环境中对象分析和设计的重要工具。结合一个刑侦信息系统案例,基于UML的建模在系统开发中的应用情况,并对相关的UML知识做了阐述。UML (Unified Modeling Language) is an important application of object-oriented technology, and is also a useful analyzing and designing tool in software engineering. The application of modeling technique is introduced based on UML in system development process over the practice of a software on criminal investigation MIS (CIMIS), and corresponding knowledge and technique about UML are elaborated.
