摘　　要：A Schiff base derived from 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-5-pyrazolone(PMBP) with p-aminodimethyl aniline and its complexes with Cu(Ⅱ), Co(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ) and Zn(Ⅱ) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV and 1H NMR techniques. The ligand and the complexes particurally the Co(Ⅱ) complex have antibacterial activities against Escherichia cocli and Staphylococcus aureus.A Schiff base derived from 1-phenyl-3-methyl-4-benzoyl-5-pyrazolone(PMBP) with p-aminodimethyl aniline and its complexes with Cu(Ⅱ), Co(Ⅱ), Ni(Ⅱ) and Zn(Ⅱ) have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, UV and 1H NMR techniques.
