摘　　要：我们在论证朱熹叶音不是乱改字音以叶古韵的基础上 ,进一步考证宋人及朱熹叶音主旨在于说明押韵 ,不在改音。其所注“叶某音”本意是从字之多音中选定一音以使韵谐 。Based on the theory of Xieyin(叶音) by Zhu Xi(朱熹) which is not to change the pronunciations at random to rhyme the ancient rhymes, the thesis has further studied that the purport of Xieyin(叶音) by Zhu Xi(朱熹) and those who lived in the Song Dynasty(宋) is to explain rhymes, not to change the pronunciations, and so the real intention of his Xie Mouyin(叶某音) is to make the poems harmonious by selecting one pronunciation of several pronunciations of polyphones, which tallies with the rule of polyphones used interchangeably in the Song Dynasty(宋).
