摘　　要：小说《秘密的分享者》主人公在潜在的精神危机中与莱格特不期而遇并救助了他 ,莱格特充满自信和富有个性的反抗精神 ,唤醒了主人公身上的“另一种力量”,使之热切地追求理想、自由的人生价值 ,向自己的意志极限挑战。这种追求与坚强毅力的结合治愈了心灵的创伤 ,完成了主人公复杂的心理转换过程。在这部作品中 ,作者大量运用了象征主义的写作手法 ,从而使整部小说散发出一种带有传奇色彩的神秘而长久的艺术魅力。The leading character in the novel The Secret Sharer met Leggatt by chance and saved him when he was in a latent spirit crisis. Leggatt's revolting spirit which is full of self confidence and individuality awakens in the leading character a power to pursue his ideal, and liberal life vahce and challenge the limit of his own will. The pursing and strong will cured the character's mental scar and also helped him complete his complicated mental transition. In the novel, the symbolized writing skill has been applied by the author. And it makes the whole novel emit the long artistic charm of romance and mysteriousness.
