摘　　要：文章以新的历史时期为研究背景,分析了我国高等院校师德建设面临的新的机遇与挑战,提出加强高校师德建设应当遵循的若干基本原则,认为加强师德建设的关键在于发挥广大教师的自律精神。This article analyzes the opportunity and challenge that will be met in building up teachers' morals in higher edu- cational institutions in the new historic period. It also elaborates some basic principle that should be followed in the process and believes that teachers' self-discipline is the crux of the matter.
