摘　　要：继2003年美加8·14大停电事故后,世界多个国家电网发生了大停电事故,引起人们的高度重视。对8·14大停电事故的直接原因和更深层次的原因进行了分析,以吸取这些事故的教训,正视我国电网在安全运行方面还存在的问题。明确了三道防线的概念,指出建立三道防线是确保电网安全稳定运行的成功经验,提出了加强三道防线的建议。North America 8·14 blackout and outages happened in power system of nations in the world,which were paid attention widely. The paper analyses the direct and indirect causes of 8·14 blackout for learning the Lessons and setting store by the potential problems of the Chinese power system in security operating. The concept of three-defense lines is defined exactly again and the successful experiences in using three-defense lines are presented. The suggestion of enhancing three-defense lines for insuring security and stability of the power systems of China is put forward.
