摘　　要：意象是融入了主观情意的客观物象。"江河"作为普通物象,经过历代诗人不断地刻意营造,具有了丰富的人生意蕴和文化内涵。在中国古典诗词中,源远流长的"江河"意象体现着民族文化的崇拜与个人离愁的抒怀,滚滚东去的"江河"意象体现着雄浑劲健的壮美与逝者如斯的哀愁,惊涛骇浪与清澈澄明的"江河"意象分别喻指动荡浑浊的世道与宁静纯洁的心灵。Image is defined as the objective reflection blended with the subjective feelings. As a common objective reflection, the 'river' contains profound meanings of life and cultural connotations by the poets throughout the ages. The article aims to analyze the image of 'river' in three aspects. In classical Chinese poetry, the image of a long 'river' with a distant source represents the worship of national culture and the sorrow of parting; a flowing 'river' to the east manifests the magnificent nature and the regret: for the past time; and a raging or a clear 'river' symbolizes the turbulent society or the pure and peaceable mind.
