摘　　要：书目数据合并是高校图书馆合并后自动化管理系统改造的首要任务。笔者通过西文期刊书目数据库合并的亲身实践,指出书目数据合并中存在的诸多难点,并有针对性地阐述了难点处理方法及合并步骤。Merging methods of bibliographic data is the most important task in the automatic management system after the academic libraries merged. Through the self practice in the merging of western periodicals' bibliographic database, the author points out that there are many difficulties in the merging of bibliographic data, and shows the ways of solving difficulties and the steps of merging.
