摘　　要：根据海南岛草地植被和草业状况,指出海南草业发展中在认识、综合研究和政府管理等方面存在的问题,阐述草业在海南生态省建设中的作用并提出加强政府职能、加大综合研究力度以及解决认识问题等发展海南草业的建议.In line with Hainan Island'sˊ grassland vegetation and the state of grass industry,this paper expounds the concept of ecological industry and outlines, some questions in terms of awareness, comprehensive research and government administration concerning the development of grass industry in Hainan. Besides, the function of grass industry in the construction of Hainan as an ecological province is discussed and some suggestions for its development in Hainan have also been forwarded.
