摘　　要：论述了图书馆员素质形象塑造的紧迫性及其内涵,指出在图书馆员素质形象塑造的过程中除应重视馆员业务培训及思想教育外,还应建立馆员素质形象考核制度、读者评估制度以及相应的监督机制。This paper expounds the urgency and connotation of modeling of lib ra rians' quality image, points out that besides paying attention to professional t raining and the ideological education, and ought to establish examination system of librarians' quality image, readers evaluating system as well as correspondin g supervision mechanism.
