摘　　要：本文简述了犯罪地理学研究进展的历史 ,揭示了犯罪地理学研究进展过程中各个阶段的特征。探讨了西方犯罪地理学研究的新进展 ,论述了实证主义、激进地理学思想、科际整合理论、GIS的引入是目前犯罪地理学发展的新趋势。此外 ,还探讨了中国犯罪地理学研究的新进展。最后 ,对 2 1世纪的犯罪地理学研究进行了展望 ,阐述了犯罪地理学研究的 12个热点课题 ,并指出 2This article briefly sets forth the developmental history of the criminal geography, points out that the development of criminal geography can be divided into four Periods:①the period of geographical environmental determinism;②the period of Environmentalism;③the period of Chicago Criminal School;④the period of criminal behavioral school. This paper approaches the new development of the western criminal geography. The development of criminal geography takes on a new look since the 1990's. It mainly shows four fields: ①introduction of positivism; ②introduction of the viewpoint of radical geography; ③introduction of integrated subject theories; ④introduction of GIS. It sets forth the advance of Chinese criminal geography. The western criminal geography was introduced by medical science educational circles before the 1980's.Criminal geography had aroused geography educational circles in the 1980's.The development of criminal geography has made gradually since the 1990's in China. It mainly shows four fields: ①study of the subject system of criminal geography; ②study of the theories of criminal geography; ③applied study of individual field of criminal geography; ④research of the future development of criminal geography. The paper sets forth the position of criminal geography in human geography, which has an important guide sense for establishing the criminal geography in the 21st century. Lastly, it looks forward the criminal geography in the 21st century, and points out twelve hot issues of the criminal geography in 21st century: (1)space choice law of criminal behavior; (2)criminal space; (3)natural environment and criminal; (4)criminal market; (5)population geographical feature and criminal space distribution; (6)community criminal; (7)criminal map indication; (8)the disequilibrium of regional economic development and the difference of criminal space; (9)regional social cultural environment and criminal characteristics; (10)criminal regional divisions and criminal space planning; (11)the cri
