摘　　要：翻译是用目的语把源语言的信息传达出来的过程。其标准是"忠实"、"通顺",为了达到这一标准,在翻译过程中就必须掌握一定的方法,增词法就是较常用的一种。所谓"增词",就是在翻译中添加一些必要的词汇,使译文的意思更清楚明了。当然也不能离开原文随便增加词汇,而应该遵循一定的规则。经过分析总结,本人认为基本上可以从词汇、语法、逻辑、修辞、和谚语等几方面进行适当的增补。The process of translation is to use target language to express the ideas of source language coherently and faithfully. Amplification is one of the methods to achieve this purpose. However, we must observe certain rules when using this method,rather than to add any word at will, which is unfaithful to the original. Generally,proper amplification is mainly adopted in the aspects of vocabulary, grammar, logic,rhetorical devices and proverbs.
