摘　　要：知识管理是在知识经济条件下 ,经济网络化、信息化和全球化发展环境中形成的一种新的企业管理理念。介绍了信息管理和知识管理的关系 ,指出知识管理是信息管理的最新阶段 ,阐述了实施知识管理过程中不同环节的技术支撑和工具 ,初步探讨了知识管理系统对提高石油勘探决策水平的支持 。Knowledge management is a concept of modern enterprise management, which become noticeable under the environment of knowledge economy as well as networking, informatization, and globalization of economy. In this paper, the author firstly discussed the relationship between information management and knowledge management, showing that knowledge management is the ultimate phase of information management.Then introduced the technologies and instruments used in materialization of knowledge management system. Finally analyzed the support of knowledge management system to improvement of petroleum exploration decision making, and the corporate culture that should be built up in implementation of knowledge management system.
