摘　　要：“刚”字的甲骨文形体 ,其繁形从网从刀从牛 ,会用网和刀捕杀牛之意。在词的发生层面上 ,“刚”字的本义域构成为 :用工具捕杀 [义素 ( 1 ) ]性情刚烈倔强的 [义素 ( 2 ) ]公牛 [义素 ( 3) ]。“刚”的词义系统的形容词系列 ,应以“刚直 ;倔强”义为起点。《说文》“刚 ,强断也”The shape of the word “Gang” in inscriptions on bones shows the meaning of killing Niu (牛) with Wang (网) and Dao (刀). “Gang” is made of three parts: Wang (网), Dao (刀) and Niu (牛). In genetic phase of the word “Gang”, the composition of the original meaning field of the word “Gang” is to use tools to catch and kill [sememe (1)] a strong [sememe (2)] ox [sememe (3)].As the adjectives series in the word meaning system of “Gang”, the meaning of strong should be taken as starting point. The explanation of “‘Gang’ , strongly break” in “Shuo Wen (说文)”is incorrect.
