摘　　要：THE FIRST CASE of AIDS in the USA was recognized two decades ago,with the early cases representing homosexuals with pneumocystic carinii pneumonia or Kaposi’s sarcoma.Since then the disease has spread world wide without sparing any continent.HIV has caused deaths and severe socio-economic impact in developed and under developing countries.
