摘　　要：本文立足于建立翻译学理论体系必须在继承中求发展的思考，提出“信达雅”这一“三字理论”具有方法 论的性质．三个字的对象性、针对性、规范性和内在逻辑意义的整体性．揭示出同一事物的三个层面，本 质地说明它是译事的最高原则。This article is based on establishing the translation theory system in carrying forward the developing translation thought. The 'three - word - theory' (Faithfulness, Expressiveness and Elegance)has had the character of methodology with its objectiveness, direction. normalization and logical entirety. and brought to light the three levels of the same thing. Insofar as it has essentially been illustrated that the 'three -word - theory'is the highest principle of translation.
