摘  要:朴素作为一种艺术风格或审美趣味 ,在中国古代美学史上具有特殊的意义。本文对朴素之哲学思想渊源及具体表现特征作了较为系统的梳理归纳 ,并对有关朴素的某些误解作了澄清 ,指出朴素既是一种事物的本然状态 ,同时也可以是一种“绚烂之极 ,归于平淡”的大巧 ,两种朴素既有区别又有联系。As an artistic style or an aesthetic interest, simplicity has its special meaning in the ancient Chinese aesthetics. This article tries to give a systematic and genealogical account of the philosophical thinking on simplicity and its expressive characteristics. It also tries to clear up some misunderstandings about simplicity by pointing out that simplicity is not only a natural state of things, but also a great revelation of the fact that gorgeousness will inevitably turn to plainness. The two conceptions of simplicity are different from but related to each other.
