变色沙蜥繁殖的研究

摘　　要：作者通过研究证明变色沙蜥 Phrynocephalus versicolor 的繁殖活动具有明显的季节性.雄蜥性成熟时最小吻-肛长为45mm,吻-肛长大的雄蜥在一年中成熟精子出现早且维持时间长.雌蜥性成熟时的最小吻-肛长为41mm,产卵期为5月末至7月末,每只雌性成蜥每年产卵一次,吻-肛长大的雌蜥产卵多而大且比吻-肛长小的雌蜥产卵早.A study on the reproduction of Lizard Phrynocephalus versicolor was carriedout in the north of linze county,Gansu province,from April to October 1989.Theobservations on the conditions of reproductive system and the paraffin sections of testesindicated that the reproductive activity of Phrynocephalus versicolor has strong seasonalchanges.A snout-vent length of 45 mm was selected as the minimum size at sexualmaturity of the male,and the large males produce fertile sperm earlier in a year andmaintain a longer period than the small ones.The minimum size at sexual maturity ofthe female was 41 mm SVL.The oviposition period begins at the end of May,and endsat the end of July.Adult females produce only one clutch a year.The large femalesproduce more and bigger eggs and they do so earlier than the small ones.
