儿童咀嚼功能与体质、智力发育的关系

摘　　要：目的　探讨儿童咀嚼功能与体质、智力发育的相关关系。方法　应用MPM 2 4 0 1型咬合测力器、视觉运动反应计等仪器测量 132名学龄前儿童咬合力、张口度、身高、体重、头围、胸围、反应时等相关指标 ,并进行统计分析。结果　咬合力与年龄大小成正相关 ,男性咬合力总体大于女性 ;咬合力大小与身高、体重、胸围呈正相关关系 ,与反应时、头围大小无相关关系 ;张口度与身高、体重呈正相关关系 ,与头围、胸围大小无相关关系。结论　咀嚼功能的完善有助于儿童的体质发育 ,与智力发育的相关性有待于进一步研究。Objective To provide a information on the relationship between children's mastication and development of their body and intelligence.Methods Measurements of bite force,mouth opening degree,reaction time,height,weight,and head and chest circumferences of 132 preschool children were done with corresponding instruments,and all these measured data were analized with the aid of statistical software.Results Bite force had a positive correlation with age,and boys had significantly larger bite force than girls.A statistically positive correlation was found between bite force and height,weight,and chest circumference measurements respectively,but no correlation between bite force and reaction time.Mouth opening degree also had positive correlation with height and with weight.No correlation was found between mouth opening and chest circumference measurement.Conclusion Perfect mastication contributes to growth and development of children's body.The relationship between mastication and intelligence needs further study.
