摘　　要：英语反身代词的运用一般都是从句法来讨论,特别是Chomsky的约束理论,更是详尽地阐述了反身代词的句法行为.但是对于这类代词的研究不能只集中在句法,句子本身所持有的语义也对反身代词的用法有很大的影响.本文拟就此讨论,特别是探讨'图像'名词词组中反身代词与其先行词的语义关系.When the English reflexive is discussed, it is most probably analyzed from its syntax, especially in Chomsky's Binding Principle. However, we can by no means restrict the English reflexive only within the syntax. The semantic property also lays great influence on the distribution and usage of the reflexive. This paper deals with the semantic relationship between the reflexive, especially the picture noun reflexive, and its antecedent.
