摘　　要：“人文主义”是humanism的译名。在中国 ,晚明社会和清朝前期以李贽、汤显祖、戴震、曹雪芹等人为代表的启蒙思潮 ,适宜于称为人文主义。人文主义思潮在当时的中国虽然没有掀起西方那种文艺复兴运动 ,但它是近代文明的滥觞。《红楼梦》这部贯穿着人文主义思想的著作 ,无论是在封建社会“末世” ,还是在近现代 ,都是读者的启蒙教育书。就是对于今天的读者 ,它也仍然有着启蒙教育作用。The paper borrows “humanism' from West to illustrate Chinese classical ideology and culture. The enlightening trend of thought happening in late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty, should be properly called humanism, which was re presented by LI Zhi, TANG Xian_zu, DAI Zhen, CAO Xue_qin and so on. Although hum anism trend didn't produce revival of literature as occurred in the west, it ori ginated modern culture in China. A Dream of Red Mansions is an enlightening book to enlighten the readers not only in the last years of feudalism, but also in t he modern times. The humanism thought in the book has the educational function n owadays.
