摘　　要：本文对莫高窟第 14 8窟千手千眼观音经变中的内四供养菩萨和外四供养菩萨进行了考释 ,并据此提出了密教内四、外四供养菩萨的界定标准。This article aims to analyze and explore the placement and function of the Bodhisattvas that were painted in the form of inner four-cornered and the outer four-cornered in the illustrations to the Thousand-Armed and Thousand-Eyed Avalokitesvara Sūtra as a Mandala Design in Cave 148 at Mogao Grottoes. Based on the argument, this article lays down the suggestion for the notion of identity definition to the inner four-cornered Bodhisattvas and the outer four-cornered Bodhisattvas which belongs to the esoteric Buddhist art.
