摘　　要：几何光学中高斯公式的推导可以不依赖象反射和折射这些特定的基本原理。在推导中广泛使用对称性,可以弄清楚透镜和面镜之间的相似性,并揭示了对于透镜和面镜实际上存在四条,而不是三条主光线。The Gauss's formula in Geometrical optics derived without relying on specific mechanisms such as reflection and refraction. The extensive use of symmetries in this derivation clarifies the deep analoge between mirrors and lenese.and reveals the natural existence of four,not three principal rays for both mirrors and lenses.
