Physiological Responses to Cu^(2+) Stress inthe Populations of Elsholtzia haichowensis S. from Copper Contaminated and Non-Contaminated Sites

摘  要:通过盆栽实验,对铜胁迫下种子分别来源于污染区和非污染区的海州香薷3个种群的生理反应进行了比较研究.结果显示,来源于污染区的海州香薷种群的叶绿素含量和电解质外渗率受铜的影响明显小于非污染区种群.而且在铜浓度较高的处理中,来源于污染区的海州香薷种群的超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)和过氧化物酶(POD)活性能够维持在较高水平,而非污染区种群的SOD和POD活性却受到显著的抑制.这表明POD和SOD活性的维持与海州香薷污染区种群对铜的抗性有密切的联系.Physiological responses to copper stress in tree populations of Elsholtzia haichowensis S. were comparatively studied with pot culture experiments. Seeds of the tree populations were respectively collected from copper contaminated and non-contaminated sites. It was found that the chlorophyll content and electrolyte leakage were less affected in the populations of E.haichowensis from contaminated sites than those in the populations from non-contaminated sites. Moreover, at high level of copper treatment, the activities of SOD and POD in the populations of E.haichowensis from contaminated sites were significantly induced, while this was not the case for the populations from non-contaminated sites. These results show that the increase and maintenance of activities of SOD and POD intimately related to the resistance to copper of the populations from contaminated sites.
