摘　　要：首先对公路网络系统的功能进行了分析 ,公路网的功能可分为直接服务功能和最终服务功能 ,对公路网功能的研究是对公路网功能结构进行划分的基础 ;依据公路网络系统的结点具有层次性的特点将全国公路网结点划分为A、B、C、D、E五个层次 ,上下层结点集以及同一层次相邻的结点集之间都存在着自相似结构 ,即 :低层次的结点集经相似放大后 ,能与高层次的结点集实现几何意义上的重合 ;同一层次的某一结点集经平移后 ,能与其它结点集重合。在此基础上对公路网功能结构进行划分 ,并结合图上作业和分形分维理论计算出各功能级别的公路里程。First the authors have an analysis on the function of h ig hway network system.Highway network system has two functions that are the direct function and the final function.It's the basis to set up the construction of hi ghway network function of studying the function of highway network.We can divid e the point group of higway network system into five layers of A,B,C,D,E accordi ng to layered character of it.There exist self-similarity constructiion between each layer and between each part of the same layer.That is though alike magnifie d lower point group can be geometrically consistent with higher point group and though parallel move the point group in the same layer can be consistent with ot her groups.On this basis we can set up the construction of highway network funct ion,and account milege of each different function highway using the method of op erating on map and theory of fractal geometry.
