摘　　要："复义"(ambiguity)是英美"新批评"派(TheNewCriticism)用以解释文学特征、定义文学性的一个关键性术语。在新批评看来,文学文本的语义结构与科学、哲学等非文学文本具有本质性的区别。文学文本的语义不是单纯的或清晰的,而是多重的、复杂的和含混不清的。Ambiguity is the core term which The New Criticism use to illustrate literary characteristic and literariness. In The New Criticism theory, there is a important semantic distinction between the literary text and other text, such as scientific text and philosophical text. The meaning of literary text isn't simple and clear, but multiple, complicated and ambiguous.
