摘　　要：加入WTO，为适应国际经济新秩序的要求，中国社会将面临着全面的变革，作为承担人才培养任务的成人教育也将面临新的发展机遇和严峻挑战，本文就此谈了自己的观点，希望对成人教育工作者以帮助。After its entry into WTO,China will conduct reform s in all its social fields in order to meet the requirements of the new economic o rder.Adult education,as an important institution of cultivating personnel with s pecial ability will also be faced with new development opportunities as well as severe challenges.This article,through analyzing the present status of China's adult education and problems it faces,offters some suggestions which the author hopes is helpful to the work of adult education.
