摘　　要：因认识的发展和其他语言的影响，苗瑶语里的一些基本词分裂成了几个不同 的词。词分裂以后，原词语音不变，但只表示原来的部分意义，另一部分意义则用新 的语音表示。这种原有意义与新的语音结合而成的词本文称为裂变词。Some basic words were split in Miao-Yao languages because of the development of people's understanding and influences of the other languages. After their splitting, original words just preserve parts of their earlier meanings, but the other parts of the meanings have been shifted to some words with new sounds. The author calls these new words split words.
