摘　　要：“右文说”是古人探求词源的一种方式。“右文说”在宋代的产生不是偶然的,它是中国传统词源学经《说文》、《释名》、《玉篇》、《说文系传》等的有关研究之后发展到一定阶段的必然结果,并与宋代学术发展的大势与高度相一致的。The Right-part theory is one of the ways for ancient people to study etymology. It is not an accident that it emerged in the Song Dynasty (宋), but an inevitable outcome of the development of the study of Chinese traditional etymological works, and it comported with the level and altitude of the scholarship of the Song Dynasty (宋).
