摘　　要：本文讨论语文现代化与语文教育的有关问题。语文教育应包括三个方面 :A 语言文字 ;B 语言文字的运用 ;C 语言文字及其运用所负载的文化内容。近百年的语文教育 ,着力解决的是A(语言文字 )、C(文化 )两个方面的问题。当前中国内地的语文教育主要存在四种不足 :a)重书面语轻口语 ;b)关于语言文字运用的成体系有章法的教学 ,几乎是空档 ;c)对语文教学中的文化问题 ,缺乏“大文化”的思考 ,缺乏理性的审视和布局 ;d)The paper concerns two issues:modernization and education of Chinese language and writing. Theoretically, language education includes three aspects: A) Language. B) Use of Language. C) The culture that language bears. The main purpose of language education in the last one hundred years is engaged in solving the problem of A and C. The author points out four defects in language education: A) No enough emphasisize on oral language. B) No systematic methodology on teaching of the use of language. C) Cultural influence on language education has not been sufficiently considered. D) More importance has been attached to language knowledge than language ability.
