摘　　要：本文从4个方面论述功能语言学对文体分析所做的贡献:(1)功能语言学中提出的语域、纯理功能、衔接和互文性等概念对文体分析具有重要意义;(2)功能语言学为文体分析制订了一难一易两种不同的目标;(3)功能语言学提出了描写与解释这两种不可或缺的步骤;(4)韩礼德等功能语言学家所做的文体分析对里奇、肖特、克里斯、卡明斯、王佐良和申丹等文体学家产生了较大的影响.This paper examines the contributions of functional linguistics to the development of stylistic analysis by discussing the following points:(1)the significance of some important concepts in stylistic analysis such as register,metafunctions,cohesion and intertextuality;(2)two goals of stylistic analysis:the more attainable and the less attainable;(3)approaches to stylistic analysis such as description and interpretation;and (4)the stylistic analyses made by functionalists and their influence on stylisticians such as G.N.Leech,M.Short,D.Crystal,M.Cummings,Wang Zuoliang and Shen Dan.
