辽宁绥中县石碑地遗址1996年度的发掘

摘　　要：In April--November, 1996, the Jiangni.ishi Working Station, Liaoning Provincial In-stitute of Culture Relics and Archaeology, excavated at the Shibeidi site, to the east of the area excavatedin 1995. The work was carried out by laying out 44 squares, each measuring 10×10m, which total 4,000sq m. The revealed remains include Groups B and C of buildings in the north of Area I , the southerncompound in the south of Area 1I , and a part of Groups D and H in the east of Area 1I , which belong tothe Qin and Han period. Those of the Qin dynasty are relatively intact in preservation and show distinctcharacteristic features in layout and structure, which can be exemplified with a building complex in GroupD of Area 1I , the largest in size and best in condition among the building-foundations so far excavated. Inthis group, in the east of a raised temple-foundation, there is a relatively isolated room furnished withextremely complex facilities both above and under the floor.
