译论研究中的文化转向

摘　　要：翻译的过程是一个译者不断进行选择的过程。能够认识到各种文化因素对于译者在这一过程中所产生的影响和制约作用,并对这些因素进行系统的研究和总结,对于最终揭示翻译活动的规律、丰富翻译理论的研究有着至关重要的意义。本文从译者的思维方式、价值观念、审美取向、译者翻译一部作品的目的、译者特定的目标读者、译入语文化中的文学传统、译入语文化与原语文化之间的相对地位以及翻译活动与译入语文化之间的互动关系等方面入手论述了文化因素对译者的影响和制约作用。Theprocessof translationisactuallya processof choicesanddecision.Therecognitionandsystemat-icstudyof theculturalfactorsthatinfluencethetranslator's choicesin theprocessof translationis significant for bringingto lighttheregularitiesof translationprocessas wellas for theenrichmentof translationstudies.Thispapermakesan effortto identifysuchculturalfactors,andthentriesto illustrateinwhatwaythesefactors,namelythetranslator's wayof thinking,ideology,aestheticvalues,hisintendedreadership,theaimof histrans-lation,theliterarytraditionof thetargetculture,therelativeimportanceof thesourcelanguagecultureandtar-getlanguagecultureas wellas theinteractionbetweentranslationactivityandthetargetculture,determineand limitthechoicesthatthetranslatormakesinthecourseof translation.
