摘　　要：本文系统地评述了二十年来苏州方言研究的进展情况,认为二十年来苏州方言的研究具有起步早、新人多、数量大、涉及的方面广和探讨的问题深等几个突出的特点。文末的参考文献还比较详尽地罗列了100多篇(部)研究苏州方言的文献目录。The essay gives a. comprehensive view of the advances in the studies of Suzhou dialect over the last 20 years, pointing out that studies of Suzhou dialect was started earlier than those of other dialects, and was of greater profundity and a wider range. Now many researchers, following their predecessors, are specialized in this field. All mentioned above, in the author's opinion, feature the studies of Suzhou dialect in a striking way. Over 100 theses and books on the dialect are listed in the bibliography at the end.
