摘　　要：江西赣南地区的稀土氧化镧品位高、储量丰富、价格便宜,用它代替稀土氧化铈作为玻璃熔化时的澄清剂,可以生产出质量合格的玻璃球,从而可以降低玻璃球成本,开辟氧化镧在玻璃纤维工业中的应用.The South of Jiangxi province abounds in the rare earth lan-thana,which is of ligh grade and cheap price. It has been used as the refining agent for glass melting instead of cerium oxide to produce qualified glass marble at lower production cost. This created the application of lanthana in glass fiber industry.
