摘　　要：环境地质经济学，是根据当前在环境地质学与经济学等交叉领域开展的研究，提出并试图建立的一门新兴学科．本文论述了建立环境地质经济学的必要性、研究对象和内容，最后概述了环境地质经济学的特点及与其它相关学科的关系．环境地质经济学的研究对象是经济发展与地质环境保护的协调关系．环境地质经济学的研究内容，包括经济发展必须与地质环境承载力相适应、地质环境资源的价值计量、地质灾害及防治中的经济问题、区域发展规划、城市建设、工程建设的环境地质经济问题，以及在社会主义市场经济条件下如何应用经济手段对地质环境资源合理配置和有关地质环境保护政策、法律制定等问题。环境地质经济学以其边缘性，应用性为特点，以其研究范围的特定性与其它有关学科相区别．Based on.the study in the overlap field of environmental geology and economics,we consider that a new subject, environmental geology econpmics, should be established,This paper expounds the necessity or establishing environmental geology economics, theobject and contents of the study of environmental geology economics, and also gives asketch of the characteristics of environmental geology economics, and the differences fromother relevant subjects. Its object is the coordinated relationship between development ofeconomy and preservation of geologic environment. Its contents include: development ofeconomy fitted to the sustained capacity of geologic environment, evaluation of geologicenvironment resources, economic problems arising from geologic hazards, economic problems of environmental geology in regional developmental plan, urban construction and engineering construction, and under the conditions of socialist market economy how we useeconomic means to allocate geologic environment resources more resonably, enact the poll, des and laws preserving geologic environment. Environmental geology economics is characterized by appliablc nature and verge, and is distinguished from other relevant subjects byits special area of research.
