摘 要:即使网络的速度在提高,用户对网络带宽的需求和当前网络仍然存在着差距,特别是考虑到网络设备价格的因素.在机群中也存在同样的问题.一种经济地获得高速的网络带宽的方法是链路聚集.然而,数据链路集聚的方法,特别是端口集聚,有一些缺点.为了克服这些缺点,VIP技术被提出来.它向用户提供高性能的,高可靠的通信.VIP作为一个内核模块在Linux下实现.实验数据表明VIP的带宽在所有的通信模式下都要比端口集聚的带宽要高.Even with the network speed improved , there are still gaps between the capacities of current network and users' demands ,especially taking the price of network device into account ,which also exits in the cluster system. One method of economically obtaining the high bandwidth of network is link aggregation. However, the data link aggregation solution ,especially port trunking, has some drawbacks .In order to overcome the drawbacks , the VIP technology was porposed ,which provides both high performance and high reliable communication to users. The VIP is implemented under Linux as a kernel module and the experiment data indicates that the bandwidth of VIP is greater than the bandwidth of port trunking under all communication modes.
