摘　　要：基质金属蛋白酶(MMPs)在眼碱性化学伤中的作用越来越受到重视。本文就MMPs的发展、结构、功能及在眼碱性化学伤中的作用作一综述。Chemical injury is one of the most severe occular di- seases leading to blindness, particularly alkali burn, which can result in corneal matrix melting, ulceration, penetrating and neovascularization. Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) play an important role in chemical injury of the eye. This paper tends to discuss the structure and function of MMPs in alkali burn.·
