摘　　要："十一·五"期间,我们要正确理解和把握科学发展理论,树立科学的发展观,认清大理学院的发展形势。科学确定大理学院的发展目标,把握大理学院发展的张力和机遇,促进大理学院全面发展、和谐发展,并保持足够的可持续发展能力。经过五年左右的努力,把大理学院建成省内先进、国内知名、在南亚和东南亚有一定知名度的区域性综合大学,成为对地方经济建设和社会发展具有较强服务能力、有较大贡献的人才培养基地、科学研究和成果转化基地、先进文化的创造和传播基地。During 'the 11th Five-Year Plan' Period, we must correctly understand and grasp the theory of scientific development, adopt a viewpoint of scientific development, and keep clear in mind the trend of Dali University's development: scientifically setting up the university's goals of development; well weighing up its tension and seizing any available opportunities in the course of development; and effecting an overall harmonious development and maintaining a capacity for sustained development. Striving for approximately five years, the university is expected to become a regional institution, which will be province advanced, nation famous, and well known, to some extent, in South Asia and Southeast Asia; to become a talent-fostering base, which can tremendously serve and contribute to the region's economic and social progress; and finally, to become a research-fruit incubator and a creator, disseminator of advanced culture.
