摘　　要：入世后,中国兽医高等教育面临着两方面的机遇与挑战:一方面是教育体制与国际接轨,一方面是兽医制度与国际接轨。在这种背景下,如何发展广东兽医高等教育,作者提出了思路和对策。After China joined the World Trade Organization,veterinary specialty in higher education of China is faced with both opportunities and challenges.Both the educational system and the veterinary medicine in China have to be brought in line with the international practice.Under such a background,the authors put forward their ideas of how to develop veterinary education in universities and college of Guangdong province.
