摘　　要：勇毅，是古代中西带有共同性的道德规范。儒家视“勇”为“三达德”（智、仁、勇）之一，足见勇德在中国传统道德中的地位和作用是非常重要的。在传统伦理思想中，与勇德紧密联系的概念还有“毅”。“勇”、“毅”联用，表示勇敢坚毅，它要求人们勇猛无畏、见义勇为、信勇刚毅、不畏艰险、勇攀高峰、勇于进取、勇往直前。无论是人类征服自然的活动，还是科技创新、艺术创造都离不开勇毅。在社会主义精神文明建设中，弘扬勇毅品质，对于协调人际关系、净化社会风气，推动职业活动发展，具有重要现实意义。the 'bravery and persistence' is one of the most common Chinese and West traditional moral norms. It owns exceptional status in Chinese traditional moral norms. The Confucian School looked it as one of the most important three moral norms. In traditional ethics, the two conceptions have close relation between bravery and persistence. 'Bravery and persistence' asked people to advance bravely and stand firmly. It is indispensable to the actions of overcoming nature, scientific and technical creation and art creation. It is also important figure in contemporary morals.
