摘　　要：中国传统诚信以其丰富而深刻的思想和智慧,为我们在全面建设小康社会进程中,克服诚信 危机、重塑诚信美德提供了可供借鉴的宝贵资源,但由于缺乏民主和法治精神的滋养,具有其自身无法克 服的历史局限性,必须根据时代发展的要求进行相应的发展与创新,才能焕发出新的活力。Traditional Chinese fidelity culture, owing to its richness and depth of philosophy and wisdom, is a precious resource to help overcome the fidelity crisis nowadays. However, the historical limitations rooted from its own soil makes it impossible to adapt to the demand of times. Thus it needs to be modernized.
