摘　　要：论述了纤维材料发展的三个阶段以及加工技术的发展过程,说明服装材料具有物质和文化的双重特性,有着自己独特的文化内涵,服装文化以材料为物质依托和精神源泉。服装材料及文化是人类社会技术、技艺、文化艺术的重要组成部分之一。只有运用材料,才能表现完全的意义和充满新鲜活力的服装形象。These papers discuss the three stages in the development of fibrous materials. Costume material has double properties of substance and culture,it has particular culture connotation.Costume culture take material as substance support and spirit source. Costume material and it’s culture is one of the most important part of social technology ,workmanship and cultural art. The development and application of material is the vitals of that if the costume will be succesful or not . Nothing can show the whole meaning and show the shape of costume which is full of changes but using material well.
