摘　　要：学校向工作过渡(STW)的改革曾经是20世纪90年代美国职业教育领域的一项重要改革,但伴随着2001年STW机会法案的废止,STW遇到了前所未有的发展危机.学校向生涯过渡(STC)继承了STW改革的核心理念,继续致力于改善美国青年的生涯准备.分析从STW向STC转变的背景,比较这两种改革之间的异同,可以探求世纪之交美国职业教育改革的走向.The reform of STW was the most important reform in the field of American vocational education in 1990s. Coming with putting an end to STW proposed law in 2001, STW faced unexpected crisis. STC succeeds to the essential idea of STW, continue to strive for improving American youths' career preparation. The author tries to explore the trend of American vocational education at new century through analysing the background of the change from STW to STC, comparing the differences between them.
