摘　　要：文章从几种对翻译研究产生了重大影响的现代理论的角度,分析了传统"忠实"的局限以及这些理论对忠实的动摇和丰富,认为只有让"忠实"更有弹性、更立体灵活,不再作为创造的对立面而存在,才能成为有实际意义、能解释翻译现象的标准。From the angle of several modern theories which have greatly influenced translation study, this thesis analyzes the limitation of the traditional 'faithfulness' and the impact and enrichment those modern theories contributed to it. Then the author holds that only when the 'faithfulness'is more flexible, and more stereoscopic, can it be the feasible and capable translation criteria to interpret and guide the translation practice.
