摘  要:从当前农业产业结构的调整, 人们消费观点的改变, 阐述了糯玉米品种选育与利用的重要性和迫切性; 介绍了糯玉米由一个突变体到现在上百个品种, 各种花色的发展过程; 糯玉米由简单的青嫩果穗鲜食到现在的青嫩鲜食、保鲜加工、深加工等多种利用途径, 以及形成了产业化; 分析了糯玉米快速发展过程中存在的问题, 提出今后要根据我国国情因时、因地、逐步扩大的建议; 明确了现阶段糯玉米的育种目标除农艺性状和综合抗性要求外要求鲜食及保鲜加工以适口性、商品性好为主; 工业用深加工以籽粒产量高, 支链淀粉高为主; 饲用主要以生物产量高为主。The importance and urgency of breeding and utilizing new waxy corn variety was signifcant due to adjustment of agricultural producing structure and the change of people's consuming views. The developing process of hundreds of waxy corn varieties (from a mutation) were introduced. The waxy corn which was used by simply eating fresh ears, was utilized in many methods, such as eating fresh ear, fresh produce, and now it has been industrialized. The existent problems of fast development of waxy corn was analyzed, and it was suggested that the situation of waxy corn must be based on the situation of China and must be carried gradually.It was clear that the goals of the wax-corn breeding should include good commercial for fresh eating,keeping greenness and processing,high yield and content of amylopectin for industry deep processing and high biology yield for breeding.
