摘　　要：郭沫若除了是公认的悲剧作家外 ,还是一位合格的喜剧作家。他的历史喜剧《蔡文姬》和《武则天》 ,究竟有没有喜剧精神 ?符不符合喜剧的美学特征 ?有别于他人对此问题的歧见、回避 ,笔者的看法是肯定的。其内涵主要包括 :人物性格的刻画富有喜剧精神 ,矛盾冲突的处理传达喜剧精神 。Guo Moruo is a qualified dramatist of both comedy and tragedy. Critics always argue whether or not there is essence of comedy and feature of aesthetics in his chronicle plays “Cai Wenji' and “Wu Zetian'. However, the author takes a positive stand that the essence of comedy in Guo Moruo's dramas are expressed by temperament of characters, the conflicts of the plots, and the development of the story.
